i have an 88 2wd 22r with a 5spd now and i have the chance to buy an r151 rebuilt do you know if it will bolt right up with no mods or what..which bell housing should i use or does it matter i just want to direct swap one for one..luckily no 4wd here any help would be appreciated thanks brian

 

as long as it has the original r151 bell housing attached still it will bolt right up. Your drive shaft length will be off and your shifter may be in the wrong spot but as far as bolting to the 22r/re there will be no problem.
