here is the progres of about 8 months of ownership just.
I sanded it down and got it painted. I got a 4inch Procomp lift. Then some 33x12.5 bfg mt on some black steelies. Next i plan on 4.88, highsteer, and doing some interior work. hopefuly i will have that all done by the end of summer and here are some pics.
when i got it

after sanding for like 40 hours

not a fan of red but that shade looks really really good, dig the whole truck, the tire/wheel combo and stance..... makes me miss my 85!

I really like the paint
also, where did you get the bull bar?

does that have the 22re? if so, how much loss of power did you have when you put on the 33s?

Did you pull any of the glass? Or did you just tape everything off?

I need to pull mine because I have lots of rust...

how are you liking the 4in procomp lift...is it really rough...did you get springs front and rear..or AAL's in the rear...im thinkin about gettin the 4in kit...then buying new rear springs somewhere else...for cheaper...

I have the ProComp 3'' lift in front and 4'' lift it back (4runner top is super heavy) and I love it. I bought it as a cheap lift to get by for the summer but was impressed by the performance. Just make sure you get the lift springs in the rear and not the AAL.

over all i real like the lift. It does ride a little rough but it is a 4wd truck. I have blocks in the rear right now but i plan on doing 63 inch chevy swap or some 4 inch lift spring sometime soon
