how hard to find are orginal bucket seats to a 79-83 toyota truck?

 

I was looking quite hard for several months find a set of 1st Gen buckets for my '81 (PO had put in 4Runner seats) the only set I found the guy wanted way to much for my blood. I have found several sets (7-10) in the local boneyards, 1st gen trucks are still to be found in the PNW. But they have been too trashed for my tastes. I ended up doing a set of 93 Acura Integra seats ($40 for the pair) and I was able to use 2 of the stock mounting holes in the front and drill 2 in the rear.
I realize that info doesn't help if you are trying to do a restoration, but the 15 year old seats are a lot more comfortable than 30 year old butt technology ...

 

actually i have my stock bucket seats out of my 82 toyota. i would be willing to sell them both i have both passenger and driver sides but do not think i have the rails for them.but i can check.

 

You guys should fill out your Public Profiles. When you're talking about shipping bucket seats, it really helps to know your location.
