84 4Runner, just took the top off, and found this little "stash" spot. Wanna Guess?

that where the elctrical pig tail comes up into the top,it's for the rear window wiper, and where the hose is for the rear window washer fliud

For the tops with rear wiper/washer, there is a connector in there. With the top off, you tuck the connector away.
