for you it is. I got an 85 white one that looks pretty good, I just have a soft spot for black 4runners in sweet condition. Like the one you have... here's mine:

Im sure those are nice bumpers, but they look very weak to me, like one good hit against a rock or tree and they would fold up into a bunch of twisted metal.

I like the white paint for west texas it gets so hot here, My son and my wife wanted to go with the Midnight Blue, It does look black in low light. Not complaining though I really like how it turned out.

It still looks awesome. You can get those solar powered fans that clip on your windows to help circulate air. I know all about the black truck in the summer thing. not fun when it's 100+ outside! Steering wheel & shifter burns your hands and the seat burns your back!

I was talking about the Marlin Bumpers, im not saying that there is anything wrong with then, they just don`t look all that strong.

Marlin bumpers are very strong. I've hit a number of things and there has been no damage to my rear one.

Yea I don't think I have to worry about strength with Marlin Bumpers. They are really built well and the reinforcement and gusset angles all look right.
Thank's for the compliment on the 4runner project looks like you have a sweet one going yourself!
Next crossover steering.
