some pics of my '82

Alright got some pics of my new toyota! you can see in one pic the pink anjd teal pinstripe im working on removing. it also had "shalimar golden retrievers" painted on the side. yes painted. in enamel. and the guy waxed and buffed it so much you cant hardly take any of that off without messing up the body paint. this stuff "goof off" works really great tho, barely takes the shine off the clear coat. if anyone is trying to take paint off the outside of their clearcoat, let me know and ill tell you what to do and what not to do! made quite a few mistakes on this truck. thankfull its just a truck and i dont care what the paint looks like.

but look how nice and shiney the interioir is. not even a rip in the carpet!!

Ill take some nice pics later after i finish the paint and detail it.

HUGE gas pedal...lol. I had an 82 Toyota and it was pretty sweet...other than it was rusty because it came from a rusty state...lol

God I'm jealous! Mine looks like it should sit in the junkyard compared to yours. That thing is super cherry. Is everything original (paint, carpet, decals, etc.)?

Man I wish I was turning a profit, I'm actually going to lose a couple thousand on it. Guy who sold it to me ripped me off (never buy any car "as is", lesson learned) and I can't afford to keep it. Already have a new 4runner, which I only bought because this one dude from Hawaii (I won't name any names but his initials are gtfour43) said he was going to buy the truck from me, then bailed, so now I'm in debt, owe my parents money, and still need to move this truck. BOUNG!

Plus I'm just not into wheeling like I thought. Trucks are nice to haul around drumsets though... which was all I wanted a truck for until I say this beauty. I really want another RX-7, but I should get out of debt first.

Oh and it is clean, I fell in love with it and bought it the day I drove it. I couldn't believe how nice it was, then I kinda messed up the paint by taking the pinstriping off, dumped hundreds into the engine to get it to pass smog-I guess the previous owner didn't know about changing spark plugs. He had a CLEAN 59 Chevy stepside with a 383 stoker in it next to this in the garage, so I figured he knew how to take care of a car. But I guess his mechanics know how, and he just knows how to wrte checks.

But I'll stop crying about it now. : ) Thanks for the comments though, guys. And yotatech has been a huge help!

Cheers,
-Andrew
