Exclamation Aisin manual hub conversion

I recently bought a pair of Aisin manual hubs for my 1986 4runner at a junk yard. I tried to put them on but was unsuccesful. Can someone point me in the right direction? Is there a convertion kit that I need to buy or should they just bolt on? I am afraid that my wheel will fall off or something if I dont secure them properly. I got auto off and I dont see a way to secure them on besides the ouside nuts and the bolt and washer on the inside. This is my daily commuter so I am on the bus until I get it going.
Should there be something like in this link attaching it as well: http://www.wabfab.org/aisinmanualhubs/aisin.htm

Thanks in advance.
Stu

You have/had auto hubs, so you need the the Auto hub conversion that Wabfab sells. Otherwise, the hubs will not only NOT bolt down right, they will not engage the splines of the axle.

The same isn't true of a 90 4runner is it?
I did this conversion on mine and they seem to engage just fine.
and I DIDN'T get that kit from wabfab to do it.

No, the 1990 4Runners had ADD not Auto locking hubs. With ADD, the outer locking hubs simply needs to be bolted on. With automatic hubs, you have to change out the spindle nuts.

No need for the wabfab "kit" if you use the spindle nuts, washer and lockplate from the donor truck!

Thanks guys, they are in and working well. It turned out the conversion kit was installed on the truck I got the hubs from at the junk yard. Wabfab seems to have lots of cool stuff.
