hey guys i just picked up my first truck. i needed something to haul drums around in and got to spoil myself with an 82 toyota 4x4. its a single cab, sr5, 5 speed, has a rancho 3" lift, a camper, 32's, brand new high flow exhaust (he sid its from a turbo model, i think its magnaflow but it sounds burly and nice) and......... 114k original miles! original owner, garage kept. its beautiful.

the only problem was this pink and teal pinstripe all around, a pink paw print on the hood, and lettering on the side for a golden retriever business this guy and his wife ran. been working on taking it all off, its painted on in enamel, ugh. the body is straight and the interior is pristine tho, the guy i bought it from keeps his cars well. always had a seat cover on it, and theres not a single rip in anything. and he had a 59 chevy stepside with a 383 stroker sitting in his garage that he was selling the toyota to put more money into it. *drool*

im thinkin power steering is the first thing i need to do...

so just wanted to introduce myself, hope i wandered into the right forum lol. oh i live in tracy, ca and just recently turned 21. youll see me at bars in the general area. havent really done 4 wheeling before, like i said i just needed a truck to haul drums in, but i am very interested in it and already this site has been a great resource.

oh and one more thing. i'm selling my subaru, its a 2000 2.5rs. go look in classifieds im headed there right now...

 

well i dont want to post a subaru in a classefied with nothing but toyotas in it... but can i? lol.
