1985 4Runner 4-sale, Jonestown PA.

Well, wife says I gotta sell one toy before I can buy another. I really want a super motard, so my off road rig needs to go. I just had it inspected today and she runs like a 23 year old Toyota. The truck doesn't "need" anything but there is a lot of stuff that could be updated. This year is getting almost impossible to find in decent shape. The rust is minimal and the truck is still all there. A little tiger hair on the floor and some rust on the rockers but not your typical rust bucket like most of them in the north east. This rig has so many possibilities.. This was my daily driver until I bought my 07 Dodge. As I'm sure most of you know, 85 was the only year you could buy the solid axle with fuel injection. Every year the prices of these are going up. If you don't trash it, you will make money when your done with it. A buddy of mine just sold his 85 pickup for $5,000 with a carb motor in similar condition. I'm asking $4,500 o.b.o. I don't really want to sell it.. PM your e-mail if you want more pics. I have many more, just to much resizing needed to post them.

I also have a 5-spd trans and t-case in my shed that go with it. I was planning a swap with dual t-case and crawler gears. Also, I forgot to mention the top is removable and everything works except the A/C. Thanks

The size limit of the photo sucks..

Also, forgot to mention the miles on the runner are 230,000 with approx. 35,000 on a rebuild. Always ran Mobil1, she burns no oil and runs great.. 33 inch tires are also like new. You ccould drive this rig anywhere. My price is o.b.o. Will consider super motard trades. Any other questions, just ask.

What part of PA are you in? Can you send me pics of the rust, the interior, and underside (mainly where the frame dips down in the rear)? Are you willing to met half way? Im in south east VA. Thanks for your time. - Ben

I'm about 30 minutes east of Harrisburg in Jonestown. PM me your e-mail and I will send you about 20 good photos. Yes, I would be willing to meet half way but I would not make the trip without a deposit to cover my time and milage. I drove 3 hours to meet a guy once for the same type of deal and he never showed. The frame is very good. Minor rust where the bumper attaches but even that is still solid. I will also send you a PM with my contact info. Thanks, Troy

Bump.. Not even one offer?? I'd guess I'll have to put it in the local auto locator. I really thought someone on here would buy it.

it's hard to justify flying out to look at a truck that would take 2 days to bring home...

I can understand that for sure.. My buddy bought his Unimog out your way and it took him 4 days to get it home. For you $2,500 because of your costs. I'll even put you up for a night and feed you.

The rest of you fugers that don't know a good deal when you see one, price is still $4,500..

Mike

PM me an e-mail address and I'll be happy to. The 4Runner starts in the local auto locator this friday for $3,500 o.b.o. I will sell it for the first reasonable offer. It has to go, my new toy gets here in 2 weeks.
