yep, the $500 price almost sounds like a sales tactic to me, but could be a great deal. Do you have a link to the craigslist ad?

Gotcha, sounds like you are doing your research.

the price 4x4yota found for u bolts is a good deal.

a good quality steering stablizer (I need to find one for my high steer) is something to consider too...

provided the springs aren't "sprung" $250 sounds like a pretty good deal. Yellow polyurethane bushings, could be superlift, yellow was kinda there thing for awhile. Could be wrong though.

Its always worth tryin to talk him down. That stuff doesnt look new either so make sure there is still a center pin in all of the springs and that there not bent but either way thats cheaper than buying a new kit! And that is a good deal on ubolts.

With 3" of lift, you might also want to consider extended brake lines. My stock rubber lines were pretty stretched at 3" of lift, I wouldn't recommend going offroad or anywhere that your suspension will flex much or you may bust a line.

yep-u bolt flips are more like $50'ish a set and would require High steer..

Here is a picture of the NWOR springs that my brother in law gave me. He only ran them on his truck for a week or so and found that they were very stiff for what he wanted to do. I ended up get a set of Trail Gear rear springs...

From their website, it looks like their 3.5" HD kit (if the kit is not that old): http://www.northwestoffroad.com/part...on3_6lift.html they don't list prices for some reason...

If you are set on it I would try offering him $200 or so to start...

if you are interested in a dropped draglink, send me a pm. I only used mine for a short time (2-3 months) . With high steer, I don't need it.

Brand new Rough Country 3" lift for $275 on e-bay. Not a Allpro lift, but if your just getting it in the air I think it's a great price.

The guy that has that lift is Greg. I think he ran them on a 4runner for a while. Can't remember. I just picked up a set of Downeys from him and I love the way they flex.
Ken, If you want you can have my old lift springs from the rear of my truck. They ride like crap because they are aal but they are free. Then put your rears in the front. If you want them have your dad call me to pick them up. Oh and sorry about the d.s. Cliff

hey man, i would defiantely get new brake lines. i got my set which came with front 2 lines and rear line for 80 bucks. they are 12 inches and are pro comp steel braided. they will really save you alot of headache when you are 30 miles from home and bust a line.
