Which Cam for 22r "pre-runner"

Im looking to buy a cam from engnbldr that will be used on a late 80s 2wd prerunner(no smog, green sticker off road only) so it will be kept in higher rpms most of the time. Ive got a weber 38 and LCE header with a flowmaster so im good as far as flow in and out of the engine. Ted from engnbldr suggested the 270 or the 261c. The 261c seems more for lots of low end torque but he says it pulls good to redline and the 270 he said pulls good from 2000. What engnbldr cam are you guys running (or have run) and how do you like it?

I have a TRD stage 2 cam that pulls strong from 2000rpm up. I would go with a more moderate cam unless you have other engine upgrades to support it.
