What's a good replacement for a radio antenna?

my power antenna broke and the motor keeps grinding even though there's nothing there.

 

I got a replacement from ebay for $16 shipped, IIRC. Came with instructions to remove the old one and install it too. Very simple to do.


A lot of people replace it with a "Taco whip" too. Just search it on here.
