oil leak

ive looked and dont see wheres is coming from but my 2.7 is leaking oil on the passenger side. it has a new pan gasket and filter but its higher then the pan and its not the pan leaking. the passenger side would be the side the exhaust is on. i was told to try the oil sending unit or something like that. it only leaks when the engine gets hot. i havnt had time 2 look i just got done working 13hrs and gotta be up in 6 hrs to go work 8more. thanks for any help

Sounds like the valve cover. I could be wrong. The 3.4L have had problems with that but since you've got a 4 cyl, it might just be coming from the passenger side?

Best thing to do is clean the crap outta it with engine cleaner. I do not recommend the engine bright stuff... it does work, but, its really nasty crap you don't want it going into the drains or in the earth. There are some more "natural" stuff that doesn't stink up your driveway and polute quite as bad.

Then you may be able to track where it is coming from easier.
