Lightbulb Need help finding a bulb size

Anyone know where I can pick up Silverstars bulb #168? It's the parking light bulb - my driver's side went out a little while ago

I'll probably be avoiding suvlights.com or whatever that site was

sorry... couldn't help but add my little jab there

Do they make Silverstar 168/194? I didn't think they did, but I could be wrong. If they make them, they probably sell them at AutoZone as they sell the headlight/fog size bulbs. Good luck!

Not according to the Sylvania catalog. I looked it up and they have the number and everything - it's also the same bulb that goes into the 3rd brake light above the cab and I think somewhere in the tail lights too.

EDIT
Hmmm... I could be wrong though. Anyone know where to get these lights? I have the silverstars in the headlights and the sides are a little too yellow for my tastes.

Anyone?

i think you can order from their online store... and i'm pretty sure they'll have it in stock however, i think you have to do one of those "become a new member" things. but it looks like it's free shipping, and satisfaction guaranteed. try this link:

http://orderxenarc.sylvania.com/orde...=7142003225230

i have no idea if that'll work since it's so long, but you can go to www.sylvania.com and go to their automotive lighting section (on the left frame) THey also have a complete listing for what type of bulbs your truck has, so you don't have to fumble through a manual.

if you order anything, let us know how it goes

AutoZone should have Sylvania's #168 bulbs for sure. I'm not certain if those are Silverstars though....

All the local places I've tried don't have them in stock and I hate ordering parts. Besides, these stores are so understaffed that I wouldn't be able to get service anyway.

Tried the website and it looks like they only sell their more popular items and sizes. :pat:

I'll just have to try some more local shops I guess.

Did not find the "silverstars", but do a search on ebay for 168 bulb. I found 5 pages of stuff (LED, Xenon, etc)

Thanks, I'll have to try that.
I'll probably steer clear of the PIAAs. Anyone have any suggestions of other ones to stay away from?

perhaps you should steer clear of any of those imported lights that say "adds 5-10 HP!!"
