the day the music died

ok so I thought Id share the story of my 1982 Toyota 4x4 (base short bed)

it was my dads truck since the factory and the motor went out so he gave it to me if I could rebuild it and I did and I started getting into rock crawling and 4 wheeling so I wanted to build it up so I put in a brand new 22R and L52 5 speed (it came with a 4 speed factory) and I also come to find out it had factory 4.56:1 gears so that was even better but I finally got its heart beating again and drove her around for 6 months putting 8000 miles on the engine until the tragic day that I was on my way to work and some @$$ cut me off and totaled it I literally cried cuz it was my baby I loved that truck I grew up with it as a kid and it was gone so finally I she was gone collected my money and the took her I wish to this day I would have kept her and tried to fix her but the frame was bent to hell

the day I got her

playing in the mud

playing in the creek

playing on the rocks

working on paint job

as she was when I last say her

Trail rig? It looks to me like the damage is cosmetic primarily. Doesn't even look like the rad burst.

Buy it back from insurance and get the frame strighted and build a tril rig out of it.

Awee, that really sucks. It makes it even worse the fact that you had it for a long time. I remember when we had to put an old car away that we had, I was just about in tears. Hmm, well life goes on. Maybe you'll find a truck that will make you as happy as that one did. Its a pretty upsetting story, I better leave now before I start balling my eyes out. Its funny how attached to vehicles we can become.

Even if it's through your property, the stream isn't really "yours". The water that you muck up effects everywhere down stream.
