CV Boot Repair Kit???

Hey guys,

I'm about to order a CV boot repair kit from Wheeler's Offroad. They say it is for lifted Toyota trucks, and that appealed to me knowing that the lift is the reason that the CV's split like that.

The thing I wanted to know is if anyone on here has had any bad experiances with Wheeler's, they seem ligit to me but I'm always aprehensive about on-line things. Just let me know, also if you have any good feedback that would be nice to know too. Thanks in advance.

I've ordered from Wheelers before and have never had a problem, Gary is great to work with.

However, if you're considering the Mecatech boots, they are not a direct swap out for the original.

See this thread for more info. I had ordered a set from Mike and ended up returning them because I didn't want to deal with making a gasket from the old boot.

Well if that kit is not as simple as it seems, then would you just suggest buying a repacement from Toyota, I just figured that for one new boot it would be $50, so why not just replace all four with CV's that are ment for lifted applications. What do you suggest? Please help me out here
