which size of tire can mounted on OEM rear mount spae tire carrier from 1990 4runner?

I was thinking about getting trailer hitch mount spare tire carrier, but just found 1990 4runner parting out locally.

Is there any issue to install it on '93 4runner

I've installed one on my 90. Just remember to seal the holes that you drill so they don't rust out, and build backing plates from flat stock for the inside of the quater pannels. I did this and with a 33x12.5 R 15 on a steal rim I can stand on it and I'm 175lbs. Also 4Mogger was hauling a 40" on one.

 

other than having to change your tailgate, you will have no problem mounting it. you will get posts of people telling you that you have to re-enforce where you mount the carrier mounts.

 

Nope. Never had a factory carrier.
