Does anyone know if the backlighting can be changed from green to blue my modifying the gauges somehow. I really don't want to spend over $100 on white face gauges if I can get my stock backlighting blue.

 

It's difficult. There are only three bulbs lighting the entire gauge cluster. LED's wouldn't produce enough of a spread to cover it all but you might be able to find some blue bulb condoms to replace the green ones. Good luck.

 

Try the search. There is at least one thread I can think of. It is quite involved to do if memory serves...

 

what year/model are you trying to change? I got white faced indiglo gauges for $40 on ebay for my 2001 runner.
