Angry 91 pickup no fire after blown head gasket

my head gasket blew on my 91 toyota pickup so i pulled the heads off and had a few bernt valves and a a lot of shimming later the heads were done i put the heads on last night and finished butting every thign back up this moring and went to fire it up and nothing not a freaking thing. so then the ground wire from the upper intake was smoking come to find out the ground wire for the coil was broken off so fixed then and nothing so i checked the coil the ecu distubutere fine now after cranking it for a while it would fire once when i turned it over. then i went to try it again nothing. then 3 hours later of messing with it it got to where it would fire after you turn it over and let the key off it would ark. the book sayed that it was the ignition coil coud that be right. no one at work today knew what it was but i guy there has a v6 4runner on monday im going to trade parts to see if thats the prolbum. what do yall thing. the prolbum is. no this motor does not have a crank posinter sencer on it.

Check the ground that goes from the battery to the body.

Mine broke off once and the coil wasnt getting grounded so needles to say. no spark.

Is this a 22re or 3vze? Are you sure you got the timing belt on properly?
