Lockrite Question -And I have searched

So I just got my Lockrite installed on my 92 3.0 V6 Auto. Question about something I'm feeling. I know all the quirks at least almost all, so I want to be sure this is a quirk too. When I am driving straight line at cruise doesn't matter speed, but it's in final gear, I let off the throttle a little and "Clunk" and back on the throttle "clunk". Kind of feels like a bad tranny mount of a lot of slop in drive line. Is this normal now the Lockrite is in the rear? I had a reputable shop install and everything checked out okay. By the way, corners in the rain are much better, I just can't wait to go out off road.

Yes. Mine does not "clunk" per se, but yes the feeling is normal.

I've got a 4 cyl model and I pretty much get the same thing. I don't get much of a clunk when I let off, but I get a big clunk when I gas it again. Be careful with that particular behavior when the roads are wet as it could possibly cause you to lose control if you're in a corner when it does it or something like that.

one more reason I got rid of mine also hated the pull to the right the feeling like it was gonna rip right out every time I turned and the barking my 35's. But yea its normal for it it cluck like you just broke the drivetrain somehow.

Thanks for the replies

I do appreciate the replies. Good to know normal behavior quirk. I do sure like it when pulling out in front of traffic on a slick street here in Portland.

I love it too...

Okay maybe to soon to use the L word, since I haven't been off road with it. Yes, Synthetic was replaced in the diffs. I want to also change out to synthetic in the transmission and transfer case.

Normal - it unlocks as power is taken off (you let off the gas) and then relocks with power application. That's why you shouldn't try to suddenly apply power in a tight turn - it will lock and the inside tire will spin.
