salvage electric fan?
Anyone make an electric fan kit out of a used fan setup?
I saw some electric fans sitting at a salvage yard the other day. They were for a 3.4L chevy I think. The airflow should be alright, and the size should be somewhat modified to ft my 3.0.
What else would I need to make it work?
ANyone know if this has been done, or should I be the lead man on this mod?

You would need a thermo switch (to turn on the fan at the right temp) and a relay. Some of the Landcruiser guys say the best setup is from a Ford Taurus (very high air flow).
Here is a writeup and tech link for the Taurus fan (Warning note: this is to Pirate offroad. Rough language usually found here)
