Southeastern Utah Trip
Don't pay attention to the date above because it's uncertain at the moment.
Later this year I'm looking to run back up to SE corner of Utah for a few days (Blanding, Montezuma Creek and Monument Valley)and do a little camping/wheeling.
Looking to hit up some trails and indain ruins around the area Hoveenweep, Poncho's House, Seventeen Room Ruins, Moki Dugway/Mulle Point/Goosenecks/ Valley of the Gods and if time permits some trails up in Blanding and maybe the backway to 4 Corners.
This is just an idea. I've been to all of these places (spent 11 months in the area)the only place that I'm not quite familar is getting to Poncho's House seen I've been there once and the trails up in and around Blanding.
Mexican Hat and Poncho's House (nice little hike to get to)

Date: early September (sometime around there once it starts cooling off)
The Dark Canyon area in Blanding is looking really interesting at the moment, with various trails.

Probable one of the better writeups I've seen/read so far.

Labor day weekend is going to be date and I'm working on two different routes. One would be up though the Dark Canyon Wildness.Peavine Corridor area and the other would be around Montezuma Creek/ Blanding area.
The last night before heading back would more or less be camping at the Mokee Dugway area and travel though the valley of the gods on the way out.

I would love to get out that way. I plan on taking the wife on some road trips, she was only 15 when we met & has barely seen a handful of states & those were from the highway while driving. She loves to take pictures so it's in the planning stages for me.
