just curious as to road sound/performance

and opinions on swampers.

I might be keeping my BFG's as winter tires, and swampers for summer/ FUN!!

 

My buddy has a 95 Runner with 35 inch Swampers that sit on 7 inches of total lift. He loves him he says and they are perfect for climbing, a lil rough on the road.

 

If you have the means...keep your current tires for day-to-day driving...and get the Super Swampers on another set of rims for the weekends.

I've been eyeing the new LTBs...mmm, goodness.

I had the 31x12.5 SSR. They were Ok, only thing I didn`t like was the 2 ply sidewall that got sliced in the rocks the last time I went to La Perouse. Soon as I found that I got the MT/R`s, those are 3 ply. IMO MT/R`s are far superior to swampers.

 

can one of you guys with em on your rig snap a shot of them for me?


I just like the BIG knobs on the sides that stick out real far

 

i've got a set of new 36x12.50x15s in the tsl sx's they have the treadrunning down the side. they are inpressiveon the trail but they are pretty noisy on the road.
