96 454bb chevy in a t100

Does anyone know where to get mounts, wireing diagrams, and solid axle info on this swap ive looked it up on google and i haven't found any info on a v8 swap for t100's.Im going with a 700r4 and np205 transfercase. The reason im going with this is because its cheaper and chevys are plentiful.Compared to a the 2uzfe or 1uzfe from toyota. Also how hard is the dana44 and gm 14 bolt swaps? Are they to wide to fit under a t100?

Well the good news is it all will fit with no problem except the bb(including a 3in lift from the dana and 10 bolt!). I'll be going with a 5.7 vortec instead any info on this swap???The biggest reason I'm going with a t100 is I rode in a regular cab pickup and it was rather uncomfortable and I wont have anything else except a regular cab in a small truck. So I moved to bigger and better looking trucks.I diffenately will be bobbing it 8-10 inches though.

I'd just clean your frame up, get some generic racing mounts and tack them in place.

The 5.7 over the 454 is a good choice. I doubt a toyota frame could stand up to a 454 and I know that 700r4 cant.

Ya if your going into swaps like this custom fab is a must alot of the time. T100 are rare (well just not seen as often) but I have yet to really see kits for them. It may be that I havent looked much but I would check out Downey Offroad and Northwest Offroad for parts. Im sure you could use alot from some of there kits but as far as mounts go youll either have to get the generic like Stomis said or build your own

Give them a call and maybe they can get you all the mounts and stuff for your model. Now that I think of it, do you have an original 3.0, cause maybe with that info the mounts atleast for the motor would work. Not sure on tranny mounts

Going 95-98 model (extended cab version was introduced in 95).It will have a 3.0 if its 95 but if its 96-98 it will have a 3.4.

So you dont even have it yet? Why not just buy a Tundra with the V8 or stick with the 3.4 T100 dont get the 3.0 because if you do get the 3.4 and still want to swap, you could make all the money for the motor swap off selling all your 3.4 stuff (ECU, Wiring, ECT.) Wise choise if you want a T100 and want to swap motors get the 3.4 one. You could also argue that the 3.0 will be cheaper thus saving the money but instead of hassaling with the 3.4 sale so I guess both work in the end Just My opinions

if you have the doner truck use it youll spend most of your 5k gitting parts for the 3.4.
