The bulbs on my Hella fog lights were the H3 variety I believe. I can't recommend a good upgrade bulb though, sorry. I thought about going to a higher wattage bulb in mine but I was too scared of the extra heat that would be generated...

Yeah those will work, any H3 bulb will fit in there.

I was wondering if anyone with a 3rd Gen LIMITED Edition 4Runner ever change out their stock fog lamp assembly for the Hella Micro DE Fog Lamp Kit? I know the kit was made for the SR5 model but would it also work for the Limited? I am thinking the obvious answer is YES but it is an easy plug-n-play or would I have to fabricate some sort of bracket. I have changed out the bulbs to a more Yellow bulb but I still only see about five feet in front of the rig. I know the whole point of the fog lights is to give off a wide beam but I just want a longer cut off. Is there a way to aim the factory fog lamps? Thanks for all the tips.

Yes, the factory fog lamps have an adjustment screw that is spring-loaded so you can aim it properly. Howard Stern site has a guide on how to align fog lamps properly.
