when i go to A&A my friend tells me that the unit with a guage and the unit with a light come up as the same thing.

is he wrong?

are they interchangable?

if i was going to get a guage sooner or later could i get a unit compatable with a guage that will work until i get a guage?

are there 3.0s that have a light and a guage?

they are NOT interchangeable. you will def. burn out your gauge if you use the dummy light sending unit.

Check with Toyota, or go to a junk yard and get a sending unit from a truck or 4Runner that has the tach instrument cluster.
