Question Tire fitment Questions

I have a '93 4Runner w/ 31s. I plan installing OME HD 901s in the rear and 1.5" ball joint spacers in the front (allong with all other required mods front and rear). Would 33" tires fit then? If so will I lose much stability in keeping a 10.50 width or is it really necesary/recommended to have a 12.50 width tire? Which tires are recommended?

I travel frequently from Houston to the Mexico/Guatemala border. I prefer MTs over ATs, but I need something with long tread life (long as possible). I have been concidering SS TSL Radials or Kuhmo MTs (these are cheaper in Mexico than in the US but I don't know how good of a tire it is).

I really like the 33x10.50 tires. They fit with less lift and on the stock wheels and work great on and off the road:

I've run both the BFG ATs and MTs, both work well.

33x10.50 will fit on your rig with no lift, pounding the pinchweld is a good idea, and you might need to trim the valance a little, but nothing big.

Personally, I like the way the width looks - stays at the outside of the bodyline, doesn't stick out like some lowrider with reverse offset rims.

They'll fit, consider a locker of some sort in the near future as well....
