tube bumpers

does anyone have any pics that show how one of the marlin crawler type tube bumpers is mounted on a 2nd gen runner. the pics on their site shows a bumper that looks like it mounts to the frame. but on my '95, the stock bumper is mounted to the body, which seems pretty flimsy to me.

The marlin mounts to the frame not the body like the stock ones. It replaces the hitch.

It better mount to the frame since its a winch bumper.

Yeah, pretty sure most if not all mount to the frame. Smittybuilt would be a prime contender to mount to the body.

Marlin rears mount quite stoutly to the frame. Never touches the body. Front is overkill - 10 bolts IIRC! I think you'd rip the frame in two before you'd rip the bumper off of it!
