Question 1989 0r 1990 toyota pickup?

all the paper work for my truck says "1990"
but the owners manual says 1989 also check this picture out..
so im pretty lost also this is my first car well truck but you know what i mean.
if u can help me out thanks.

built in 89 for the "new" year of 90. my 80 was built in 10/79.

but unless someone corrects me i believe these trucks (89-90) are the same as far as parts (like when you would go into auto zone)

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
I believe you can even go up one more year 89 to 91, if you looking to replace body parts such as front end , and things like that.
