Squeal on startup

When i start my truck after its been sitting for a few hours with the clutch pressed in it will squeal for 3 secs or so. With the clutch start disengage switch on, it does not squeal. What could the problem be? 1994 22re w/117k. Clutch seems to be working great.

And any easy way to find where an exhaust leak is?

That's weird that the clutch would have anything to do with it. I would just check the tension on the belts and spray some belt dressing on it. That usually helps.

As for the exhaust leak, do it when it is cold out, so you can see the exhaust. It also might help to have a friend rev it, so you can see/hear the leak easier.

Check your belts, my alt belt did that.

Maybe it's your pilot or throwout bearing. The throwout bearing wouldn't be doing anything by starting with the "clutch cancel" button... so maybe it's your pilot bearing.

But the bearings would most likely squeak or squeal at other times as well.
