Interior condensation?

Ever since I replaced the bolt in my sunroof thus making it have a perfect seal I have been getting quite a bit of water on the inside of my windows. Normally this wouldnt bother me but now that its winter, its freezing and turning to ice! Making going to work at 2 am very difficult.

How can I stop this from happening?

I use to have that problem, but after changing the climate control from recirculate to fresh air the problem went away. If you use recirculate and your floor mats are damp or wet the problem will never go away. It doesn't seem to effect the heating of the interior at all.

hmm, funny thing... I have been using recirc for the past few days to assist with heating.. With recir the air comes out alot faster, on mine at least.

I will switch it over to fresh air tonight my windows (including sunroof) are the only things that are wet.

thanks!

If you want the heat to come out faster and seemingly hotter try this. Slide the heat control all the way over to hot and hit the A/C. I'm not exactly sure why (I assume this opens the flow a bit more thru the heater core to assist lowering engine temps while the compressor runs) but it will get so hot that you'll be running with the windows down in -30F.

I've got a sister inlaw like that "lights are on but nobody's home". You won't need to run it that way, but if you ever get your A/C running it really warms it up fast. Just keep you recirculating off for a while and you'll keep that moisture level way down.
