My transmission has started to grind when I shift into 2nd and 3rd gear. It happens when I shift up and down. I replaced the trans fluid about 7,000 miles ago with the factory recommended type and bleed the clutch fluid last weekend but it didnt help. Does anyone know what could be the matter?

 

Grinding between gears usually means the synchros are going out.

Rebuild is in order.


What did the fluid look like? At all shiny? Particles?

 

My pops transmission did this when he swapped out his clutch and didnt replace the through out bearing just a thought
