Stock T Bar size and leafs?

I have aftermarket torsion bars that are oversized. Just wondering what is the stock size? 25mm? I think mine are 26 or 28 I cant ask the prev owner but Im considering downgrading back to stock with my new shocks and BJ spacers. Also I have 2" lift leafs with 7 in the pack again not sure who makes them but they are not AAL. I want my ride more relaxed would a shackle lift be better with softer leafs? I just cant take the ride anymore and I realy feel it would be detrimental to offroading. thanks

Take a leaf or two out of the pack, that will help your stiff ride.

The longer torsions create a stiffer ride, they are designed for having alot of weight up front like a heavy bumper and winch. I cannot recall the exact stock size, I think it maybe 23 or 24mm but 26 and higher isnt stock afaik.

try uncranking the torsion bars first - a "free" fix...(unless the bolts are rusted)

I believe the stock bars are 19mm. As CJM said I would Take Leaves out before doing and shackle shananagons. Hope this helps.

I think 22mm was a fairly common stock size:

I have 33's so I cant really crank them down. I have new shocks and BJ spacers ready to go in so ill be relaxing the t-bars a bit then. but might want to just replace them.
