Question 31x9.50 R15 tires

Does anybody make a mud terrain OR all terrain tire in 31x9.50? All I can find is 31x10.50s in brands such as BF Goodrich...

i believe super swamper might make the TSL radials in this size.

EDIT: 4wheelparts - http://www.4wheelparts.com/PPT3875TS...4X1091412.aspx

Well, with the sort of mud and snow we get in these parts, I wanted a tire that will cut through whatever I am driving over, not float like wide tires. Look at the military Jeeps for example.

Oh.. and I love the way they look

wow

yea i was thinking about running those if my dad got a dually...but we didnt so o well...but yeah those look SWEET!...get them....idk how long those would last though....if u run the pressure right...and WATCH IT GOOD...a set of TSL's will run around 20 or 25000 miles..or so i've heard....maybe even more..im not sure...BFG makes the M/T and the A/T both in a 30x9.50....its not a 31....but...might work for you.....the super swampers are cheaper i think though...lol..but they sure as hell dont last as long.....

I would go with a 33x9.50 or 33x10.50 for the conditions you describe. Clearance under the diffs is critical...

I would love some 33x9.50 or 33x10.50s, my truck is stock height though and with low profile bumpstops I'd probably eat the inside of my fenders alive! lol

We don't get the sort of snow we use to around here though.. we've had pretty tame winters for the last few years

Maybe some narrow 32s would fit? I'll have to do some searching around.

tc, did you have to do any trimming? What brand of tire do you have? Low profile bumpstops, swaybars disconnected?

Also, is your truck and auto, and did it affect your speedo much? I have an auto and 4.88s.

I was looking at the 33x9.50R15 BFG All-Terrain T/A KOs. I had them in 31x10.50 a few years ago and loved them.

Thanks,
Bryan

Stock suspension, both swaybars are removed due to being broken.

Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT 33x10.50 on the stock rims.

They have been on for quite a while, and since then I beat the pinchweld and did some minor trimming to fit 34x9.50 TSL's, but absolutely NO rubbing with the 33x10.50's.

Mine is a manual tranny. going from the stock 31's to 33's made the speedo MORE accurate. Regeared from 4.56 to 4.88, and it's off by about 5% now compared to GPS.

Wow, forgot about this thread, or that I subscribed til I got an email notification...

I just got 31x10.50 BFG M/Ts again, they're the best for my price range. Even though they're pretty damn steep too...

3.0 5-Speed

in ma' sig

by the way guys, ive been driving all over town finding 2nd gen 4runners buying up the spare tires.
I have 3 oem 15" solid rims. 2 of them have the Desert Duelers and one of them has the SP Qualifier. All are unused, I found the last one just today and the lady is going to call me back to let me know if her cousin wants to sell it.

so. . . for now, because my funds are low and my debts are high, i'm going to be riding on the solid steel rims with the stock tires they came with 225/75/15. i really like the utilitarian look.

i will also be selling the 7-spoke stock toyota rims i'm riding on now

thanks for the input
