Rear window problems

Just put my top back on for winter. Last time I had it on was June and everything worked fine. All bolts are in, wiper harness is connected, and everything looks good. Wiper and window will not work from console switches. Am I missing something?

i know you made sure your connectors were clean, so does it work with the key?

It never worked with the key. I started to clean it up the other day and found a pile of dirt under the drivers side carpet. Seems that the windshield leaks down the drivers side in heavy rain. I never knew because it had the top off and I didn't drive it in the rain. So, i've cut out the carpet on the drivers side and bought some deoxit (hope it works, it was expensive) and i plan on going over all the electrical connections with it and checking wires. It'll be a good winter project and a chance to do some much needed interior work.

Thanks 4crawler. I have been to your page more than once. When I first got the truck the PO had a piece of plexi in for the rear window. using info from your site I figured out the top bolt was missing. Unfortunately for me, i don't think this one is going to be an easy fix.
