88 4Runner V6 Electrical Failure
Greetings
On my way home this afternoon, I had a sudden electrical 'occurence'. The gauges all went dead, except for the speedo of course, the turn signals quit working, the trans quit shifting, except manually, and the 'charge' battery icon came lit.
What could cause this? I don't want to leave the house until I can get it figured out@!
thanks in advance,
Thor, puzzled in Phoenix

check the wire that runs from your fuse box in your engine bay to your negative battery clamp. it could have severed. mine severed once going down the road. i cant remember exactly what happened since it was a while ago, but check that out.
