1986 4runner 22r EFI not starting no fuel

I have a 1986 4runner that wont start.
It is not getting fuel.
I have replaced the fuel pump relay @ the fuse box.
I have replaced the ECM.
I have replaced the fuel filter.
I have ran direct power to the fuel pump and it pumps fuel.
The engine will run if I spray starting fluid in the breater intake but dies as soon as I stop spraying.
Is there anyone that has a idea what I should try next?

Please help!

Search google for "4crawler fuel pump".
4cralwer has a web page that will show you how to by-pass the AFM switch and trigger the fuel pump.

The short explanation - and the one thing you haven't checked is that the fuel pump turns on ONLY durning cranking. It's triggered by air flow across a flapper in the AFM. No air flow = no fuel pump.

It can also be triggered manually by grounding a connection on the AFM connector, but you'll have to look that up carefully. Essentially you're grounding the relay to activate the fuel pump.
