Looking for a vendor who can actually align and balance 4runner tires in Denver metro

Hey, I really miss my old shop back in Vancouver, Wa. Now I am here in Parker, Co. Sure enough I let Discount tire rotate the tires. They now vibrate-when I had vibration free tires for a blessed 6 months. So, who is the best in town? I have little confidence in Discount. So...thoughts?

I would take it back to the shop and make them redo the work until they get it right

Yeah, welcome to CO! I would also take it back to discount and have them redo it. If they can't get it right, get a refund and go to 4wheelparts in Aurora. How big are your tires?

Tires are stock on 16inch rims. I will go back to discount who will tell me... "well, they are not our tires so we can't really guarantee it" at which point I will lay down on the floor, kick and scream and demand satisfaction!"

Or get your $$ back, if they cant do the job then you shouldn't have to pay. Unless you paid for an unbalance service.

How does rotating the tires cause vibration? Even if it were the case, it would not be Discounts fault. You may have other issues with your truck, or just may need a rebalance.

The design of the wheels used on the 4Runner are different than most. They are not “hub centric” meaning the hole in the middle of the wheel is not in the exact center. You will never ever get the wheel properly balanced using normal tire balancing equipment. Normal tire balancing equipment uses the center hole to mount the wheel to the tire-balancing machine.

The Toyota wheels used on the 4Runner are “lug centric.” This means that the lugs are the center of the wheel and the lugs must be used to balance the wheels. To do this a special adapter that engages the wheel lug holes must be use in conjunction with a special back side forcing cone to properly mount the wheel to the tire balancing machine

Try a Toyota Dealership in Denver.

Pretty straight forward, the tires in the rear wear different then the front. The 4runner is the most sensitive on the planet to such things. Discount failed to rebalance because they thought the very same thing and just threw them on. Thus I have out of wear tires.

Um...did you ask them to rotate and rebalance them...because you can have either of them or both of them. I dont mean to make you sound stupid or anything, I'm just making sure.
