My next mod...Its like I have a new one every week!
So I got my nice tan leather racing seats installed...and I got to thinking. Winter is coming, and it SHOULD start to get cold. Have you put the two things together yet? If not...Im installing heated set kits into my racing seats ;-) I'll be doing a FULL wrtie up on it. Anybody else done this yet?

I haven't done it but our other car has them. If you haven't guessed, it is a newer car and I'm not allowed to drive it to work. Love the heated seats in winter....makes coming home from work so much nicer. Do you think it would be possible to install on stock seats? Looking forward to the writeup.

My seats are not that cold.. even in the winter ... wierd.
but if you have somthing like leather then I would assume it would be VERY cold. I wonder if you could get a system that can heat and cool

my dads benz has cooled/heated seats. Im glad i got this kind of feedback on this heated seat thing though. It will be AWSOME for winter wheeling...Hop in the truck and have nice hot leather seats. ;-) Give me a little bit of time...I forgot i want to order my sliders and get them welded on first. After that, its heated seat time

Ya....leather seats SUCK, they are comfortable, but you'll burn your a$$ in the summer and freeze in the winter.

haha. thats why i turned down the leather bench that came with the new cab i got for my truck when i rolled it, available with it for only 50 bucks more. i decided to stay with my cloth seats, cuz i didnt want to burn my butt off in the summer and didnt want to freeze it off in the winter.

yea, I dont know what im doing for the summer yet...But i have a pretty "COOL" idea
You know you like the pun lol. That hasnt been thought out yet though...so its still on the DL. Lets just say...I plan on having heated/cooled seats in the pickup.

too cold to sit on?? find a fat chick sitting on your seat for you, she'll warm it up for you in couple minutes.
ok, jokes aside, i don't know if the heat factor will cause the leather to dry up and crack faster than it under the normal conditions.
