FS: 85 SR5, extended cab, lifted, locked, new engine
I bought this truck a few months back, wheeled it once, and then it lost it's engine. I just got a new engine built for it...and don't have the time, patience, or place to install the engine...or, honestly, the desire to even keep the truck. I've decided to just get rid of it, instead of dealing with it. Although, if it doesn't sell...then yeah...I'm going to complete it and wheel it (I'd just rather have a good daily driver right now...instead of a toy i have no time to play with)
Truck is an 85 SR5, factory solid axle and efi
5.29 front/rear
was told it has a Detroit in the rear
it's lifted and on 35/15.5/15 TSL SX's
it has custom front and rear tube bumpers (the paint on them is not that great..i planned on just aircraft remover'ing them and repainting them black) and some brand rock sliders.
it's got a 3" body lift...and what i was told are 5.5" superlift front springs, and unknown rears.
it's got a home brew crossover steering setup that works surprising well, and has been proven to be very sturdy. it's working off an independent pump it appears.
the bed has been bobbed a good bit, and the entire truck (well...not the inside of the bed funny enough) has been rhino lined.
there is SOME rust on the bed....but, this wasn't a big deal as i had planned on either getting another stock bed or building a flat bed. the only other rust is a VERY small bit on the front fenders...that some MINOR trimming would remove (i had planned on trimming them some anyways...to avoid tire contact and what not)
it's currently riding on 15x12 eagle alloy wheels...but i BELIEVE one has a small bend...since the driver's side front tire will loose air if parked on a certain spot of the wheel. i went and ordered some custom 5" or 5.5" backspaced black steel rock crawlers...and got a 5th one for the spare 35 to be mounted on.
the engine, as i said, is fresh. i picked it up today after having a local friend (ben helton) build it for me. it's got 0 miles, and is a stock rebuild. all it lacks is a new water pump, oil drain plug, having the valves adjusted after it's first warm up..and installing.
I also have a lockrite locker i'm including...that was intended to go in the front axle when i got around to buying some longfields and refreshing the front axle.
I just paid, like 3 months ago, $3500 for the truck as it sits....spent right at $400 on the new wheels, and what equates to $900+ on the engine. It'll come with all i have with it...CB, plastic tool box, other locker, both sets of wheels, and an aftermarket steering wheel i put in it.
i'm open to offers/trades, and am asking $3000 for everything.

(yes it has doors...they have hitch pins so that i can take them off when i'm mall crawlin to work)

(tag was from my other truck....yeah..shouldn't have driven it...but i had to a few times...it's got insurance, that's all i cared about)
