I have a 97 4runner sr5. Im wanting a new bumper and Im looking at either a ARB or a TJM bumper. Does anyone know the weights of each of the bumpers? Also I really dont want to change springs, do you think my stock springs will be ok? I will not be adding a winch, the bumper is mostly for increased protection. I noticed on the ARB site it lists two different width bumpers for a 97 4runner. I have the sr5 package with the black fender flaires. Which ARB would it take? Also the TJM bumpers seems to be alittle less expensive. Is the ARB that much better or is it the name? Seems like I remember in a post a winch and a non winch version of the ARB. Do they still offer a non winch version?

 

If you search on both those you'll find so much it'll get confusing. Keep in mind if you know what you really want you could always go custom if your close to any of the maufacturers,IE: Armorology, Shrockworks, Irbis. i would go with the ARB, if u ask me i think its way more protection, seems like the tjm is less heavy duty seen them flex when u pull with a winch, and the ARB has the head light protection too.
