Wheel stuck on hub
So I went to change my shocks today. I jacked up the front and pulled the wheel off on the passenger side then proceeded to the drivers side. The frickin' wheel is stuck on the hub!!! I sprayed it with PB Blaster and waited, still stuck... I took it to the shop '(it needed the alignment done and new tires put on anyway) thinking that they'll pull the wheel off and then I'll be able to pop it off when I get home. Nope... It's still stuck on there..
Any suggestions? This would really suck if I were on the road somewhere and had to change a flat. Thanks

I've done it before with (like traben27) one lug nut on it, just so that when it pops off, it won't fly off and kill your cat. Then of course have it off the ground. Then give it a whole lotta big whacks front the back side with a big freakin' hammer. I've tried kung-fu on the tires, but of no luck to myself. I've even used a hug rolling jack on one once. After about 20 whacks, it finally came off. Talk about stuck...

Jack up the truck on the axle very well. Use a jackstand also incase the jack fails (failsafe here). Then plant your arse n the ground and kick the tire with the bottoms of both feet. it will come off.

Turn around and kick the tire with the bottom of your foot like a donkey
Afterwards, clean up the inside of the rim where it sits on the hub. Wire brush, scotchbrite, sandpaper, whatever. Clean it good. Then apply a thin smear of neverseize onto it to keep it from getting stuck next time. Maybe paint your hubs too.
Salt + water + steel + aluminum + time = galvanic corrosion.

Back off all lug nuts a couple turns, and with vehicle on ground, rock it from side to side. This will usually break the wheel loose, without doing any damage to it, or any body parts. Before reinstalling it, clean all contact areas and coat with anti-size so it isn't a problem next time.
