Summit Mud Dawgs? Tires.
Anyone know anything about these tires? They're made by Summit, apparently.. They looked really aggressive and were on a truck I did at work... One was worn way uneven but that could be due to him taking right hand turns a lot and not rotating them like they should.
I looked on the net and found them at $106/ea, surely won't be the best tires but they're cheap and mud tires.. but, how long do they last? I don't want some 25k mile tire.

That's what is on my 4Runner (from previous owner, I wouldn't put MT's on a Colorado truck).
I haven't wheeled with them much, but the on-road manors are pretty good. Not very loud and pretty smooth.
I don't know the age of the tires or how long they have been on the truck, there's plenty of tread left HOWEVER there is some cracking in-between the treads.
Even if I wanted MT's I'm not sure I would get them just because the cracking I see makes me nervous. It's possible they are just very old, but I doubt it based on the amount of tread left.
