93 V6 Won't Start?
I have a bit of a problem. After supper tonight I went to go to the store and my truck will not start. It has a new battery however it will not even turn over. Could it be the starter contacts?

Did you try to jump it anyways? Alternator could be going out.

Click and nothing means starter, almost turning over means battery. And cranking but wont turn over is very hard to take a guess at.

If it clicks, then tap the starter hard with a long pole of some sort.

check the terminals and make sure they are connected. i disconnected mine and didnt tighten the neg. back up completely and started freaking out before i realized the problem.

Not hard! Just firmly.

Auto or manual? If manual, can you bump start it?

What are the symptoms? If you have a 5sp, did you bump start it?
Check your battery connections.

Not always. I've had plenty of cases where the battery did have enough juice to kick the starter.
