complete 1987 SR5 4runner for sale.

this truck is located in burlington vt and is being sold as a parts truck.

my girlfriend purchased it as a winter rat in January 07. Unfortunately she ran it low on oil, and the diagnosis is the main crank bearings are shot. motor starts right up currently and sounds fine at low rpms but knocks pretty bad at higher rpm. ran strong before.

it was a florida truck, been in VT for 8 years, giving it the typical toyota rust at the wheelwells. the frame is solid. drivetrain runs smooth. 190k on the clock.

ideally looking to sell entire truck locally, not part out and ship. but if you're really have interest in parts let me know.

its a 5-speed with a newer tranny. newer radiator. (have all paperwork for years back) its got the famed toyota red interior, decent condition. sunroof, cruise, power windows. no alt/incl or tach. rear window track is rusted out, but it goes up and down with some assistance. brand new front windshield, all other glass is good.

its got a set of hakka's on steel rims, maybe 10 mils in the back, and not much left in the front at all due to a poor alignment.

Summary: this truck is probably best as a donor for your toyota wheeling rig. lots of good stuff in there to pull, and driveline is solid.

yup, power windows/locks.

 

how much do you want fur tha power window realy? the lil box under the dash under the steering wheel...and the power lock motor things...

UPDATE: got rid of the parts rig, as I was moving out of town. gave it away to someone to strip and take to the scrap yard.
