CO - Carnage run 7/10

Great run. Thanks for organizing vw. NO body damage for me, although my sliders, A arm, skid plates, diffs, and misc other parts got a good workout. tc lost part of his exhaust, and vwfastg60 got a couple of body panel kisses trying the harder lines.

Some pics to enjoy.

- matt

I tried, but it was too dark so none of mine came out worth a damn. This is the best one

That was amazing! It really looked like your front end did not want to come back down!

With your 36's, you might be able to make the middle line, which is less tippy. I went up in there and the fronts drooped into the dug out area, so I had to take the left line.

I still have much to learn

Ran carnage again tonight with A bunch of jeep guys,Travis,John in his truggy and Dameon. I only had issues on the slab cause it was wet but other then that i watched my first Toyota driveshaft brake and it wasn't mine, Took the tree line that we were talking about when we ran i got it but it wasnt as graceful as i would have liked and got lapped for my first time on carnage by that 4runner on Rocky moutain racing slicks

I couldn't do that!!! Im wheeling the ifs for as long as i can and come winter dropping it off. It will give me some time to get lockers, gears, coilovers and some more seat time in before the truck is down for a month or so.

Wish i had the coin for that.

That sounds like a helluva shop to get it done in a month.

I'm not doubting them, but you should be prepared for it to take longer.

Go wide and cromo too, please don't use the stock toy crap if you're going to do the rest of it as sweet as that. junkyard 44's and 60s are cheap, expensive to build, but sweet in the end. Low and wide is where it's at.
