Nitto Graps or Craps?

Need some info on the Nitto Mud graps. My brother is in need of an 37" tire to fit a 18" rim. Nitto makes one and a few other do to. What mileage is typical on our light rigs? I know the Fords and chevy eat these tires up pretty fast. Thoughts?

I had them on my GMC and they were great. Not the best in the mud but they were still pretty good. As far as mileage, I had them for about 8 months before I sold the truck and they still had about half tread. So probably 15-20k on them.

A friend had them on a chevy in that size. he burnt through them in a year but he drives his truck like nobody's business. but boy do they sounds good going down the road. i would try and look for something less agressive if it is going to be driving on the street

Less aggressive is not the answer the other tire we are considering is an SSR, or similar radial. The mud graps are the less aggressive choice! Well I guess typical MT would be somewhat less aggressive than the Nitto's.

Ignore my earlier statement. For some reason I thought you were talking about the Terra Grapplers.
