I will be transforming into a Monster.
It will be SAS'ed with a 22R (yep carb),
the 7mgte needs a new crank and rods :-(

I guess the core on these things is about $250.

I have a bunch of friends who live in Portsmouth, badnews, Col. Williamsburg, and yorktown, and all other places in the area ( I could have them pick parts up for me), I live in the mountains in VA but am currently out in colorado for the summer but will be back in VA in August

The motor is in the 4runner you can hear it run, slight rod knock.

what's the deal with that 7mgte? I've got sources for parts for that motor so getting a crank and rods won't be a big deal.....

 

The crankshaft key slot is damaged and I am not about pay $300 for a used crank. I can get complete 7M's all day long for that much. I am trying to get a good crankshaft at a good price. I picked up a set of stock rods for cheap.

 

i just picked up a 95 runner with a 3.slow that is screwed up and they starting taking it apart.i want to scratch that engine and put something else in it.what will fit,it has an automatic in it and need something to hook up to it.how bad is it to hook up the 7mge or the 22re.will they bolt up to the automatic or how expensive is advance adapters for a small block.if you have time call me at 804-691-3833.i live in chesterfield va. thanks phil

Sorry guys for the slow delays.
I needed to make sure the tranny sold before I started the parts war.
The tranny is out and sold so its time to start getting rid of the V6 stuff.

Please make offers on parts you want. I don't need the v6 stuff but it is not
free either.
