Towed my boat at 250 miles, what now?

Without thinking I towed my 1300 lb boat with four people in my truck approx 12 miles. The truck had about 250 miles on it. It didn't occur to me that vehicles today have a break in period. I have read all the related posts that tell me not to do this. I am wondering if there is any reccomendation at this point, i.e oil change or if this is anything to be worried about.

No that truck is a gonner. Give me $500 and I'll take it off your hands.

I'll go even better. Give me $1000, the boat, and I'll take it off your hands and make it "disappear"

Its fine lol. Do you really even plan on keeping the truck to the point where a non-100% correct break in would make a difference? ie 200K miles (since this IS a toyota)

You are good to go...now if you had towed a 24' sled 1000 miles at 75 across the Rockies than you might have something to worry about..

You wont hurt it, the point in not towing for the first 500 miles is to let things break-in before getting too hot. Towing 12 miles wont hurt a thing... The break in was a PITA for me, with 250 miles on the truck we set off on a 1500 mile road trip, talk about annoying having to vary speeds all the time, oh well.. should be worth it in the long run...

I do recommend changing your oil around 1K to get all the assembly crap out of the engine.
