Running board removal pics before/after

So I finally removed my running boards, my woman left me and she was the only reason they were on there so I ripped em off. I dont like the look of them without them but Im going more towards trail rig then daily driver with the runner so these are the first of a few changes. I liked it better before cause I couldnt see all the ugly hanging crap but oh well, heres the pics;

definately looks better w/o because you had parts taken off the running boards and it looked reallly goofy. Off is much better.

Much better without. You can always put some sliders on there.

Yah sliders and marlin front/rear bumper on coming as soon as I get money. And I agree they looked goofy before tires were too big and the front pieces had to come off, the back piece got ripped off during a mudhole and was never found again.

Looks way better! Plus bent up half missing running boards are way uglier than just about anything else.

Yeah, I will probably be removing my running boards as well. They keep getting beat up on the trail.

Also, is your rack in a stockish location, or what? I think I would have moved it a little further back... Looks like it is awfully far up the front.

Yah thats the furthest back I could get it cause they are gutterless mounts and with the basket it has prethreaded holes in the crossbars. If I wanted I could move it back another 10" or so but thats for a later project. I had the basket in my garage for almost a year before it found its way up there so I just wanted to get it up and done with.
